Origin and history
The Epagneul Français dates back to medieval bird dogs, as do other spaniel species. In 1891, James de Connick set the first standard, which was subsequently adapted several times.
description
The Epagneul Français is a spaniel-type pointing dog that can grow up to 63 cm, with abundant, body-hugging, silky hair, with waves behind the neck and at the base of the tail. The colors are white and brown in medium piebald, irregular plates, stippled. The drooping ears of the dogs are snug and covered with long, silky hair; when placed forward, they reach just below the base of the nose.
