Often it is also the sides of the thorax and tergites . The first tergite has two elongated hair spots lying one behind the other on both sides, which do not touch on the outside. The second tergite has two, the third and fourth four hair spots on the rear edge. The labrum is flat and densely punctured. There are two teeth close to the slightly notched front edge. The antennae are longer than they are wide. The vertex slopes down slightly towards the back. The mesonotum lacks long hair. The fifth sternite is flat when viewed in profile. The males have a black body with the mandibles, the tegulae, the seventh sternite, the rails ( tibia ) and tarsi are red. The hair spots of the tergite and the labrum are developed as in the female.
