The Eppendorfer Moorgraben is an approx. 600 long ditch in Hamburg-Groß Borstel . It serves to drain the Eppendorfer Moors and is channeled into the Alster via the Inselkanal.

Distribution ditch of the Eppendorfer Moorgraben

Shortly before the runoff via a rainwater channel (R-Siel) on the Alsterkrugchaussee, a distribution ditch was created.

The ditch is indicated differently by different card operators:

  • In Google Maps of the distribution ditch as a piece of the trench declared for the section and an offshoot lacking in direction Alsterkrugchaussee
  • In OpenStreetMap , the distribution trench is also declared as a piece of the trench, and the first section is missing
