The Mühlenau is a creek about 3.6 kilometers long in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld , Hamburg-Lurup and Hamburg-Eidelstedt . Between its source near the Volksparkstadion and the confluence with the Kollau , it is largely accessible and through parks and residential areas.

It rises on Sylvesterallee near the Volksparkstadion . From there it runs to the Farnhornstieg, where it includes the Stadionstrasse ditch and the shooting range ditch through a retention basin . At the Fangdieckstrasse it takes the Fangdiekgraben . It crosses under Lampéstraße, Möhlenort and Furtweg. Shortly before Kieler Strasse , she takes up the Jaarsmoorgraben .
The Mühlenau continues through the Eidelstedter Feldmark , where it absorbs the Düngelau through a retention basin . Then it crosses under the A7 and flows into the Kollau .
