Kōhei Usui ( Japanese 臼 井 幸 平 , Usui Kōhei ; born July 16, 1979 in Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Usui learned to play soccer in the youth team of Bellmare Hiratsuka . He signed his first contract in 1998 with Bellmare Hiratsuka (today: Shonan Bellmare). The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 1999 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed 25 games. In 2002 he moved to league rivals Yokohama FC . For the club he completed 112 games. In 2005 he moved to league rivals Montedio Yamagata . For the club he completed 111 games. In 2008 he moved to league competitor Shonan Bellmare . At the end of the 2009 season, the club rose to the J1 League. At the end of the 2010 season, the club rose again from the J2 League. For the club he completed 139 games. In 2012 he moved to league rivals Tochigi SC . At the end of 2012 he ended his career as a football player.
