Epsilon Crucis (ε Crucis / ε Cru, also Juxta Crucem , port. Intrometida ) is an orange giant star in the Southern Cross . As part of this constellation, he is depicted on the flags of Brazil , Australia , Samoa, and Papua New Guinea . The star is designated by the IAU with the proper name Ginan .
