Erakor Golden Star FC is a Vanuatu football club from the state capital Port Vila . He plays in the top division of the country and plays at the Port Vila Municipal Stadium. The association's motto is “God is good” ( bislama Yesu I wi ).

history

The association was founded in Port Vila in 1926. Erakor was Vanuatu champion for the first time in 1989. In the seasons 2012/13, 2013/14 and 2014/15 they ended up behind their rivals Amicale FC . Only in 2016, after six consecutive Amicales championships, were they able to assert themselves as winners and at the same time qualified for the OFC Champions League 2017 for the first time . Erakor achieved their first international victory against the Solomonic team from Marist FC with a 2-1 win in the second group game.
