Erdmann von Schlieben

Erdmann von Schlieben (* 1632 ; † 1686 in Stradow , Niederlausitz , Electorate of Saxony ) was a court assessor and owner of Stradow and Neuhausen in Niederlausitz.

Life

Erdmann was the only known son of Eitelhans von Schlieben and Barbara Sophie von Bredow. He was baptized on September 7, 1632 in Seese. After his father's death he took over the Stradow estate. Erdmann von Schlieben became an assessor (judge) at the Lower Lusatia regional court . Several lawsuits have been filed against him, particularly with regard to his co-loan with the Buckow estate.

Erdmann von Schlieben was married to Sibylle Elisabeth von Birckholz (1644–1696) since 1661. One daughter was Margaretha Elisabeth († 1727), married in 1688 to Sigmund Seyfried von der Dahme († 1741).

After his death, the Stradow estate went to his cousin Christian Dietrich II von Schlieben . The corpse stone from Erdmann von Schlieben has been preserved in the Wendish Church in Vetschau.
