Christian Dietrich II von Schlieben

Christian Dietrich von Schlieben († 1721 or later) owned the Vetschau Castle and other villages in Lower Lusatia .

Life

He was probably the son of Christian Dietrich I von Schlieben . From this he inherited Vetschau and associated villages around 1680. After 1686 he received Stradow from Erdmann von Schlieben , his cousin. In 1688 Christian Dietrich sold Vetschau to Duke Christian I of Merseburg , but acquired it again in 1715 from Otto Wilhelm von Tümpling . In 1721 he sold the castle to Duchess Emilie Agnes von Sachsen-Weißenfels auf Drehna .

Christian Dietrich also owned the villages of Göritz , Dubrau and Pötke. He was probably married to Anna Maria, daughter of Johann Friedrich von Rab zu Schönwald, a Kulmbach chamberlain. Christian Dietrich II. Was the last male member of the Vetschauer branch of the von Schlieben family (descendants of Eustachius I ).
