Erel Margalit
Erel Margalit ( Hebrew אראל מרגלית* 1. January 1961 in Na'an ) is an Israeli politician of Avoda and entrepreneurs .
Life
Margalit studied philosophy and English literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and at Columbia University .
In 1993 Margalit founded Jerusalem Venture Partners . He has been a member of the Knesset since 2013 . On October 3, 2017, he announced his retirement from politics. The reason given by the 56-year-old was the failed candidacy for chairmanship of Avoda in mid-July.
Margalit is married and has three children.
