Results of the local elections in Lower Saxony
In the following lists the results of the local elections in Lower Saxony from 1946 are listed together.
A distinction is made between the results of the district elections in which z. B. the district council is elected, and the results in the individual cities and municipalities ( city council , municipal council ), which have been summarized here for the entire state of Lower Saxony.
In the elections from 1946 to 1956 and since 1977, each voter had three votes each, which he could distribute among the candidates as desired. In the elections from 1961 to 1976, voters only had one vote at a time.
