Ergin Soner

Ergin Soner (* 1965 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish diplomat .

Life

Soner attended Ankara University from 1987 and obtained his Masters in Political Science and International Relations in 1990. From the end of 1990 he held various positions in Turkey in the Foreign Office and in diplomatic missions around the world.

He received his first appointment as ambassador on October 15, 2013 for the Turkish diplomatic mission in Banjul in the West African state of Gambia . He was employed in this position until November 1, 2016.
