Eric Kressnig
Eric Kressnig (* 1973 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian artist .
Career
He lives and works in Vienna. From 1996 to 2001 Kressnig studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna with Gunter Damisch .
Work creation
In his work he combines painting, object and installation. The artist establishes his own system, which follows his own, specific logic. He uses and combines different materials such as wood, metal, acrylic, canvas and makes use of a reduced language of form and color. The position of the object elements to one another creates a relation in which the motif of displacement, minimal deviation and refraction becomes a system.
