Eric Kwong

Kwong Hoi Fung , known as Eric Kwong , (born October 23, 1982 in Hong Kong ) is a Hong Kong- Chinese racing driver . He won the Hong Kong Touring Car Championship in 2012 .

Career

Kwong began his motorsport career in 2009 in both touring car and formula racing . Kwong competed in the Hong Kong Touring Car Championship and the China Touring Car Championship as well as in the China Formula Campus Challenge . Since 2010, his main focus has been the Hong Kong Touring Car Championship. In this 2010 he achieved third place in the N2000 rating. In 2011, Kwong won two races in the Hong Kong Touring Car Championship and finished second in the Super Production category in a Honda Accord . He also achieved third place overall in the Asia-Pacific Ferrari Challenge with a win . In 2012, Kwong won the Hong Kong Touring Car Championship with five wins. He drove a Honda Accord again. He also finished twelfth in the Chinese Audi R8 LMS Cup in 2012 .

In 2012 , Kwong also made his debut in international motorsport. For the Look Fong Racing Team he took part in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) in Shanghai . He drove a Chevrolet Cruze .
