Eric Marcus Weglehner

Eric Marcus Weglehner (born May 17, 1992 ) is an Austrian director and screenwriter.

Live and act

Weglehner studied film in the multimedia art course at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences . In 2018 he founded the artist collective Melencolia together with the filmmaker Oliver Bernauer and the cameramen Franco Marco Avi and Dominik Mayer . Weglehner currently lives and works in Vienna .

His 40-minute short film Zingerle with Roland Silbernagl and Julia Rosa Peer in the leading roles celebrated its world premiere at the Manchester Film Festival in March 2019.
