Erich Brabec (born February 24, 1977 in Český Krumlov ) is a Czech football player .
Career
Brabec's first professional club was SK České Budějovice . He then went to FK Drnovice from where he moved to Dynamo Moscow in the Russian capital . After a year with the big city dwellers, he moved to Alania Wladikawkas where he played actively for two years.
His next stop was Kayseri , a Turkish first division club. In the 2005/2006 season Brabec played for Pasching . At the end of August 2006 he moved to FC Aarau , where he received no new contract at the end of the 06/07 season. The defender then moved to Slavia Prague on a free transfer . In June 2009, his contract was dissolved, whereupon Brabec moved to the Turkish first division club Ankaraspor . After the forced relegation of Ankaraspor to the second Turkish league, Brabec was awarded to MKE Ankaragücü . At the end of January 2010, Brabec moved to Sparta Prague . At the end of the season he won the Czech championship with Sparta, but could not repeat this success in the following years. In the summer of 2012 he moved to the Slovak first division club FK Senica .
Brabec played once for the Czech national team in 2000 and made his second appearance against Malta in June 2009 .
