Erich Brechbühl

Erich Brechbühl (* 1977 in Sursee ) is a Swiss graphic designer and poster artist .

life and career

Erich Brechbühl began his creative training with an apprenticeship as a typographer from 1994 to 1998 near Lucerne and then went on to do an apprenticeship as a graphic designer with poster designer Niklaus Troxler in Willisau until 2002. After an internship at MetaDesign in Berlin , he opened his own studio "Mixer" in Lucerne in 2003. In 2007 he was accepted into the Alliance Graphique Internationale .

Works

His work has been exhibited and awarded at many important poster biennials, including the Grand Prix in Lahti ( Finland ) in 2007, silver in Trnava ( Slovakia ) in 2006 and bronze in Korea in 2002.
