Erich Hein

Erich Hein (* 1914 in Zweibrücken , † February 1992 in Munich ) was a German doctor and medical officer in Bavaria .

Life

Erich Hein, born in Zweibrücken / Pfalz, was called up for military service shortly after his appointment as a doctor in 1939. In 1942 he was promoted to Dr. med. PhD. Most recently he worked as a prisoner and camp doctor in Stalingrad and in Siberia.

In 1950, Hein joined the medical service. He was first a medical officer in Rosenheim and Munich, then a consultant at the government of Middle Franconia, before he was entrusted with the management of the health department in the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior from 1966 .
