Erich Herrmann (handball player)
Erich Herrmann (born May 21, 1914 in Berlin ; † April 13, 1989 in Hamburg ) was a German field handball player .
Erich Herrmann played for SC Charlottenburg and Berliner SV 92 .
At the Olympic Games in 1936 Herrmann was involved in three games of the German national team and scored six goals, but in the 10: 6 win in the final against Austria he failed to score. Two years after the Olympic victory, Erich Herrmann took part in the first men's field handball world championship in 1938 , and the German team also won the title here. Herrmann played a total of eight international matches, two of them indoors.
