Erich Herter
Erich Herter (* 1920 in Heidenheim ; † 1991 ) was a German painter and commercial artist .
Life
After the Second World War, Herter studied press illustrator and book illustrator at the Stuttgart Art Academy from 1945 to 1948 .

With his paintings he is a representative of abstract painting . Some of his works formed the style for later works by painters such as Marino Marini (1901–1980). Some of his works are exhibited today in the local history museum Heidenheim an der Brenz.
