Erich Kamp

Erich Kamp (born October 10, 1938 in Schwelm ; † September 7, 1992 in Ennepetal ) was a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending primary school , he completed an apprenticeship as a motor vehicle mechanic . In 1962 Kamp became a member of the SPD. He was represented in numerous party bodies. In 1958 he joined the food-pleasure-restaurants union . He was a works council at the rusk manufacturer Brandt in Haspe .

From May 28, 1975 to March 31, 1989, Kamp was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituencies 126 and 121 Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis I. In the tenth electoral term, he left the state parliament for health reasons. In 1981 Johannes Rau awarded him the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon for services to local and state politics .

From 1970 to 1979 Erich Kamp was a member of the city ​​council of Ennepetal and from 1979 a member of the district council of the Ennepe-Ruhr district .
