Erich Martin Hering

Erich Martin Hering (born November 10, 1893 in Heinersdorf , formerly Oststernberg ( Neumark ), † August 18, 1967 in Berlin ) was a German entomologist who specialized in leaf miners (Gracillariidae). He was the author of a three-volume work on European leaf mines. He was a curator at the Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin . Part of his sheet mine collection is in the Wiesbaden Museum . In addition, there are also the collections of Friedrich Ludwig Stellwaag , which were examined by Hering.
