Erich Reichert

Erich Walter Reichert (born July 9, 1949 in Hohenroda ) is a German politician ( CDU ). He was a member of the State Parliament of Saxony-Anhalt from 1994 to 1998 and from 2002 to 2011 .

Life

After completing the 10th grade in 1966, Reichert did an apprenticeship as a machining specialist from 1966 to 1969 . Between 1976 and 1978 he was a master. From 1966 to 1976 Reichert worked as a lathe operator and between 1976 and 1990 as a foreman in cement plant construction in Dessau .

Reichert has been a member of the international association "Katharina II." E. V. in Zerbst and since 2000 chairman of the "Eike von Repgow" association. He is Protestant, married and has two children.

Erich Reichert joined the CDU in 1971. From 1990 to 1995 he was chairman and since 1995 he has been an assessor in the CDU district executive in Köthen . Reichert has been honorary mayor of Reppichau since 1992.

Reichert was elected to the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt in the 2nd as well as in the 4th and 5th electoral terms, where he ran for constituency 23 ( Zerbst ). In the Landtag he is a member of the Committee on Home Affairs, the Parliamentary Control Commission, the Committee on Law and Constitution, the Election Review Committee and the Tenth Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry (police work). In 2011 he did not run again for reasons of age.
