Erich Schüler (politician, 1907)
Erich Schüler (born March 27, 1907 in Nastätten ; † June 15, 1975 there ) was a German doctor and politician ( CDU ).
Life
Student attended humanistic grammar schools in Weilburg and Wiesbaden and passed the Abitur in 1925. He then studied medicine in Marburg, Gießen, Munich and Tübingen. During his studies he graduated in 1930 with the state examination and in 1932 with the doctorate to Dr. med. in casting. After completing medical training in Gießen, Halle and Dresden, he was a Hitler Youth doctor from 1934 to 1940 and a specialist in orthopedics in Halle from 1936 to 1949. In between he did military service from 1940 to 1945 (most recently as medical officer and head of the Halle orthopedic care center). In 1949 he became a general practitioner in Nastätten.
politics
From 1936 to 1945 he was a member of the National Socialist People's Welfare and from 1937 of the NSDAP . From 1938 to 1940 he belonged to the NS-Altherrenbund, from 1939 to 1940 to the NS-Ärztebund. On December 29, 1947, the denazification commission in Halle decided: Relieved and not subject to any restrictions.
After the Second World War, Schüler became a member of the CDU and was chairman of the CDU local association Nastätten from 1960 to 1967 and CDU district chairman of the Loreley district from 1962 to 1964.
From 1952 to 1960 he was a member of the Nastätten city council and 1953 to 1956 first alderman in Naststätten. From 1960 to 1969 he was a member and from 1964 parliamentary group chairman in the district council of the Loreley district .
On May 29, 1969, he was elected for Willibald Hilf in the sixth state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate , to which he was a member until the end of the 1871 electoral term. In 1964 he was a member of the 4th Federal Assembly .
In 1960 he became a member of the representative assembly of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians in Koblenz and in 1967 a state social judge.
