Erich Scholtyseck (born October 7, 1918 in Wülfrath , † April 18, 1985 ) was a German zoologist .

After studying at the University of Bonn, he received his doctorate in 1952. In 1962 he received his habilitation , after which he was a lecturer. Since 1965 he was an adjunct professor at the University of Bonn . In 1970 he took over the management of the department for protozoology at the University of Bonn.

From 1971 to 1974 he was also chairman of the German Society for Parasitology .
