Erich von Boyneburgk

Erich Wilhelm Karl von Boyneburgk (born October 28, 1852 in Gotha , † January 19, 1938 ) was a Prussian major general .

Life

He comes from the Hessian noble family Boyneburgk and was the son of Wilhelm von Boyneburgk. After attending school, he embarked on an officer career in the Prussian Army . In the course of this he was u. a. Commander of the infantry regiment "Graf Bülow von Dennewitz" (6th Westphalian) No. 55 . During the First World War , Boyneburgk was reused and used as the commander of the Mainz prisoner of war camp.

He was married twice.
