Erik Fratzke

Erik Fratzke (* around 1970) is an American musician ( double bass , electric bass , guitar , composition ) of modern jazz who is also active in the field of rock music .

Live and act

Fratzke worked in the jazz scene of Minneapolis a. a. with Michael Lewis and Dave King in the Happy Apple trio , for which he also composes. He also played with Michel Portal ( Birdwatcher , 2005). From the 2010s he was a member of the Dave King Trucking Company formation , with whom three albums were created in 2011-15. In the field of jazz, he was involved in 15 recording sessions between 1996 and 2015, according to Tom Lord . As a guitarist he plays in the rock band Zebulon Pike .
