Erik Golowin

Erik Alexander Golowin (born April 10, 1961 in Burgdorf ) is a Swiss author , martial arts teacher and communication trainer .

Life

Erik Golowin was born on April 10, 1961 in Burgdorf, the son of Sergius and Martha Golowin. As a teenager, he took part in some theater productions and action groups around his father. Upon completion of the high school he went through training to become an officer of infantry and enrolled at the University of Bern for the study of ethnology . During this time he met his future wife Monika Brunner. They trained together in a karate school . They traveled to Asia to study martial arts at the source of tradition. He finally decided to drop out of his studies and in future to deal primarily with the development of martial arts and meditation practices in our culture. In 1989 he and his wife met the acupuncture and martial arts master Dr. Peng from Taiwan , from whom they learned Kung Fu and the internal martial arts of Taiji, Bagua and Xingyi. Together with friends and their three children, Erik and Monika run a martial arts center in Bern.

Act

Golowin works on various sports education and cultural projects in connection with martial arts. Until 2002, Erik Golowin was responsible for trainer training in the Swiss Karate Association and J + S Karate specialist. He has published numerous publications in the field of Budo on questions of trainer training. Together with the association “Sport - The Bridge” he leads a project in Ethiopia for the rehabilitation of street children with the help of martial arts training. For ten years he has also been working as a communication trainer and coach in various educational projects and regularly leads training courses and interventions in the field of conflict management.
