Erika Weskott

Erika Weskott married Bremicker - (* around 1932 ) is a German table tennis player . In 1952 she won the German championship in doubles .

Career

Weskott achieved her first success in 1947/48 when she and Elisabeth von Aspern became German youth champion in doubles. With the women's team from TSV Union Wuppertal , she became German team champion in 1949/50. In 1951 she won the individual West German Championships. A year later she won the German championship in doubles in East Berlin together with Berti Capellmann ahead of Uschi von Puttkamer / Anita Haacke . In 1955 Weskott joined the club Blau-Weiß-Gold Barmen ( integrated into Wuppertaler SV Borussia from 1960 ). With Gerda Schlerth she won the 1957 West German championships in doubles. In 1958 she married Klaus Bremicker, a table tennis player from Schwarz-Weiß Wuppertal, and then performed under the name Erika Bremicker .
