Erion Brace
Erion Mirdash Braçe (born April 2, 1972 in Tirana ) is an Albanian politician and member of the Socialist Party . He has been Deputy Prime Minister of Albania since December 28, 2018.
Life
Erion Braçe studied finance at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Tirana . In 1993 he began to write for the newspaper Zëri i Popullit as a journalist, in 1998 he became its chief editor and remained so until 2007.
In 1996 Braçe was elected for the first time as a member of the Socialist Party in Kuvendi i Shqipërisë and has since been re-elected five times.
In 1997 he became a member of the parliamentary commission for economy and finance. In 2013 he became its president.
In December 2018, Prime Minister Edi Rama appointed him Deputy Prime Minister in a major cabinet reshuffle.
