The Adventure Center Naturgewalten Sylt is an exhibition and event center in List on Sylt , which aims to represent and convey the diversity, beauty and dynamism of the seas and coasts as well as the experience of the forces of nature.
In the adventure center for forces of nature Sylt , an exhibition on 1500 square meters introduces various adventure areas of the Wadden Sea . The exhibition also provides information on weather events, coastal protection and renewable energies. The 800 square meters of the outdoor area are occupied by a playground that matches the theme. A catering area is connected to the exhibition.
Conferences and seminars on nature conservation topics also take place in the center. Partners of the center are the Heimatverein Söl'ring Foriining eV and the community List on Sylt as well as the nature conservation organizations NABU , Naturschutzgemeinschaft Sylt eV , Naturschutzgesellschaft Schutzstation Wattenmeer eV , WWF Germany and the International Animal Welfare Fund . In addition, the State Office for the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park , the DGzRS , the Alfred Wegener Institute , the Sylt Landscape Purpose Association, the Evangelical Lutheran Church Community List and the Michael Otto Foundation support the center.
