Ernest George Meers

Ernest George Meers (* 1848 near Ashford , Kent , † August 20, 1928 in York ) was an English tennis player.

In 1889, Meers was one of the first non -Americans to compete in the US championships . From 1885 to 1895 he played at the Wimbledon Championships . In 1894 and 1895 he reached the quarter-finals there. In 1892 he won the British Indoor Championships .
