Ernest Morace
Ernest Morace (* 1766 in Stuttgart ; † in the 19th century) was a German engraver .
Life
Ernest or Ernst Morace was accepted into the High Charles School in 1774 ; Naples was given as the place of origin . He was one of Johann Gotthard von Müller's students and later became a court engraver. Little information is available about his later life or about the place and time of his death; in 1797 he stayed in Naples. According to a lexicon entry from the 19th century, he also worked in Paris for a long time .
One of his works is a portrait of Christian Friedrich Daniel Schubart , which he engraved in 1791 after a painting by August Friedrich Oelenhainz .
