Ernst-August Rumpeltin

Ernst-August Rumpeltin (born May 7, 1904 in Burgdorf (Hanover) , † June 9, 1978 in Nienburg / Weser ) was a German newspaper publisher .

Life

Rumpeltin came from a publishing family from Burgdorf (Hanover region). He completed a newspaper apprenticeship and studied law and newspaper studies in Leipzig and Heidelberg , where he was a member of the Corps Suevia . Afterwards he worked in the editorial department of several large north German daily newspapers before he became co-managing director of the publishing house “ Die Harke ” in Nienburg . Ernst-August Rumepltin was chairman of the Association of the Printing Industry in Lower Saxony and a member of the advisory board of the working group of medium-sized daily newspapers in the Federal Republic of Germany.
