Ernst-Eberhard Manski

Ernst-Eberhard Manski (born in Minden in 1954 ) is a German writer, translator, Scandinavian and historian. Since 2004 he has become known as the author of numerous science fiction stories, which he published in magazines and anthologies, mostly under the pseudonym Edgar Güttge . In 2010, The Weserwinzer Class Reunion was awarded the Kurd-Laßwitz Prize for Best Short Story .

Manski has lived in a small town in the Flemish province of Limburg since 1984 . He is married and has two grown daughters. He is a trained banker, worked for a bank in Brussels for 10 years and is now a freelance translator and author.
