Ernst Anliker (politician, 1892)

Ernst Anliker (born June 18, 1892 in Inkwil ; † 1975 ; resident in Gondiswil ) was a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Anliker graduated from the Bern-Hofwil teacher training college and worked as a primary school teacher in Herzogenbuchsee from 1912 to 1917 . He studied at the Universities of Bern and Göttingen and obtained his doctorate in 1922 in Bern. phil. II (= natural sciences). From 1922 to 1934 he worked as a secondary teacher in Bern , from 1934 to 1947 as a teacher at the Bern subsidiary trading school.

He was a member of the Bern City Council from 1932 to 1947 ; In 1936 he presided over the council. From 1947 to 1959 Anliker was on the municipal council of the city of Bern and headed the building management. He was also a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern from 1942 to 1946 and from 1951 .
