Ernst Berner
Karl Friedrich Ernst Berner (born July 6, 1853 in Berlin ; † October 12, 1905 there ) was a German archivist and historian .
Berner attended the Gymnasium zum Grauen Kloster in Berlin and studied first law, then history and political science in Leipzig and Heidelberg . After receiving his doctorate, he was appointed archivist, then secret archivist and royal Prussian house archivist in Berlin. From 1893 to 1895 he headed the entire association of German history and antiquity associations .
