Ernst Blum (soccer player)
Ernst Blum (born January 25, 1904 in Vaihingen on the Fildern , † May 17, 1980 ) was a German football player . He was only active for VfB Stuttgart and was nicknamed "Wenzel" in the club .

Blum belonged to VfB Stuttgart from 1921 to 1934 , for which he played point games in the district championships organized by the South German Football Association in the Württemberg / Baden district league and had to be relegated from this at the end of the 1922/23 season , for the 1924/25 season returned to the now more powerful, without district leagues existing district league Württemberg / Baden.
In the following season he won his first regional title with the team and thus took part in the finals for the South German Championship , which was finished fifth by six district champions.
