Ernst Bokon

Ernst Bokon (born March 19, 1922 , † April 13, 1991 ) was an Austrian football player who was particularly successful at SC Wacker Vienna .

The striker joined the reigning champions SC Wacker Wien in 1947 from the then first division club SCR Hochstädt , for whom he played until 1955. At the beginning of the 1950s he was one of the most reliable marksmen among the Meidlingers , and scored 173 goals in a total of 203 national league games. With the black-and-whites, it only worked with four runner-up titles, and twice in the top scorer list it was only just enough to second. After his season in Meidling, Ernst Bokon hung on for two more years at FC Metz in 1955/56 in France , where he scored a total of eight goals in 36 league games.
