Ernst Burow

Ernst Burow (born June 24, 1838 in Königsberg i. Pr. , † November 20, 1885 ibid) was a German doctor.

Life

As a senior prime minister, Burow founded the Rhe sailing club in 1855 , the oldest sailing club in Germany. He followed his father Karl Heinrich Burow and studied medicine at the Albertus University in Königsberg . On February 1, 1859 he became a fox with the Gothia fraternity . In the summer semester of 1859 he was a senior . Michaelis In 1860 he moved to the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin . Philistered in 1861 , he resigned Michaelis from Gothia in 1863. On December 21, 1869 he was promoted to Dr. med. PhD . In June 1861 he established himself as a general practitioner in Königsberg. On November 23, 1877 the old gentlemen's association of Gothia accepted him again. Since 1878 associate professor , he headed his father's private surgical clinic, which he had made available to the Albertina as a polyclinic in 1846 . Burow was married to Marie geb. Borchardt and had three children.
