Ernst David (writer)

Ernst David (born February 3, 1932 in Vienna ) is an Austrian writer and poet.

Life

Ernst David grew up in the Waldviertel and attended high school in Horn. He studied law at the University of Vienna and worked as a judge in various cities in Lower Austria . He writes poetry and essays and has dealt with the culture and history of Iran, India and East Asia and with the spirituality of the religions of the Near and Far East. His works have been translated into several European languages ​​and into Japanese.
