Ernst Elwert (bailiff)
Ernst Elwert (born August 16, 1729 in Dornberg ; † September 4, 1791 ibid) was the bailiff in Dornberg.
Ernst Elwert, who was a Protestant denomination, married Marianne Johannette Juliane von Passern (1734–1764), the daughter of Christian Gottlieb von Passern and Charlotte Ebert, in Gießen on August 10, 1758 . He was a bailiff in the Dornberg office . The following children were born from the marriage:
- Katharine Amalie Elwert (1759–1762)
- Anselm Karl Elwert (1761–1825), bailiff, later district administrator in Dornberg
- Katharine Amalie Philippine Jäger, née Elwert, married to the Princely Cabinet Councilor and Privy Councilor in Pirmasens Karl Friedrich Jäger
- Christiane Ernestine Merck, née Elwert, married to the pharmacist of the Engel pharmacy in Darmstadt Johann Anton Merck (1756–1805)
