Ernst Emmerich von Walpott-Bassenheim (* around 1620 ; † unknown) was a canon in Münster .

Life

Ernst Emmerich von Walpott-Bassenheim came from the Rhenish noble family Waldbott von Bassenheim and was the son of Heinrich Walpott von Bassenheim and his wife Maria Raitz von Frentz . On February 3, 1657 he was presented for a cathedral priest after his brother Johann Edmund had renounced . With the revolt to the families Walpott, Frentz von Kendenich, Binsfeld and Truchseß von Ballersheim on March 3rd of the year Ernst Emmerich came into possession of this benefice. A short time later, on November 20, 1658, he, who was also canon in Mainz , received permission to renounce the prebende. Ernst Emmerich's brother Johann Ulrich was also canon in Münster.
