The Vechernyy Hill ( English ; Russian Гора Вечерняя Gora Wetschernjaja , German 'Abendberg' ) is a hill in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It rises at the eastern end of the Thala Hills .
Aerial photographs were taken in 1956 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions and in 1962 during a Soviet Antarctic expedition . Participants in the latter research trip named him. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia translated this designation into a transcribed partial translation into English.
