The FSFAB world championships in cadre 35/2 and 45/2 1912/1 was the 9th cadre 45/2 world championship of the FSFAB amateurs . The tournament took place in New York City from February 12-20, 1912 . World championships of the Fédération Française de Billard (FFB) were held parallel to those of the FSFAB .

history

The tournament was played on match billiards with a 45 cm mark on the cadre fields. It was the third FSFAB World Championship held in the United States. Because a European played in each of these tournaments, the Americans dubbed the tournaments as a world championship. The results were taken from the New York Times , which documented all games. Other sources did not give the same results. The winner was the American J. Ferdinand Poggenburg after a game against his compatriot Charles Frederick Conklin. Places three to five were also decided by trick games.

The whole tournament was played in the round robin system up to 400 points.
