Ernst Friedemann Schelhase

Ernst Friedemann Schelhase , also Ernst Friedrich Schelhas (* May 16, 1649 in Jena , † January 26, 1703 in Wetzlar ) was senior physician at the Imperial Court of Justice in Wetzlar and a member of the academy of scholars " Leopoldina ."

Ernst Friedemann Schelhase was the son of the Jena lawyer and court attorney Justinus Schelhase and his wife Anna Catharina Schelhase. Anna Catharina Schelhase was the daughter of the princely Saxon personal physician Martin Gebler.

Ernst Friedemann Schelhase was city doctor and assessor of the medical college in Augsburg , then physicus of the free imperial city of Kaufbeuren and finally senior physician of the imperial court in Wetzlar .

On June 17, 1695 Ernst Fridemann Schelhase with the surname ANAXAGORAS I was accepted as a member ( matriculation number 213 ) in the Leopoldina .
