Ernst Holla

Ernst Holla (born June 24, 1888 in Krefeld , † March 18, 1963 in Düsseldorf ) was a German CDU politician .

Life and work

After elementary school , Holla, who was a Roman Catholic , completed an apprenticeship as a baker, which he completed with a journeyman's examination. In 1913 he passed the master craftsman examination and started his own business in Moers . From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War. In 1919 the local bakers' guild elected him head master . Since 1946 he has also worked in craft organizations at the federal and state levels.

Political party

In the Weimar Republic , Holla was a member of the CENTER , in 1945 he was one of the founders of the CDU, of which he became district chairman in 1946.

MP

Holla was a member of Moers' city council from 1920 to 1933 and since 1945, after the Second World War he was also a member of the district council in the Moers district .

He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1961. He represented the constituency of Moers in parliament.
