Ernst Karl Schassberger
Ernst Karl Schassberger (born April 29, 1975 in Mutlangen ) is a German chef .
Career
After training at the Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe with Lothar Eiermann , Schassberger went to France in 1996 to study Les Prés d'Eugénie with Michel Guérard in Eugénie-les-Bains and in 1997 to Le Crayer in Reims . In 1999 he joined the Michelin Guide Louis XV of Alain Ducasse in Monaco .
From 2000 to 2002 he trained as a business economist in Dortmund and in 2003 took over the hotel business on Ebnisee from his parents with his sister . The house has been in the family since 1756, and the siblings are the eighth generation to run the house.
In 2004 he opened the Ernst Karl restaurant there , which has been awarded a Michelin star for many years.
From July 2010 to June 2019, he ran the dining room restaurant in Fellbach .
