Ernst Kircher

Ernst Kircher (* 1940 in Jagsthausen ) is a German physics teacher .

After completing his teacher training and physics studies, Kircher worked for six years at the Institute for Science Education (IPN) in Kiel , primarily in developing curricula for secondary level 1. In 1977 he received his doctorate . Since 1978 he has been working in teacher training at the University of Würzburg . Scientific focal points include the everyday ideas of elementary school children, analogies in physics lessons and the theoretical principles of physics didactics. His habilitation took place in 1994.
