Come Clarity (formerly: Crawl Through Knives ) is the eighth album of the Melodic Death Metal - band In Flames . The album was released on February 3rd, 2006 in Europe by Nuclear Blast and on February 7th in the USA by Ferret Records , after earlier release dates had to be postponed.

History of origin

Production was taken over by Daniel Bergstrand for the third time in a row . In Flames, however, the guitar and the bass produced themselves. The final mix was in the studio sound technology made in northern Sweden, Anders Fridén monitored the process.

Originally the album was supposed to be called Crawl Through Knives . The band describes the style as a consistent further development. On Come Clarity , the band tried to orientate themselves on earlier recordings and still take new motifs into the music.

The Swedish singer Lisa Miskovsky is involved in the song Dead End . It is the fifth song in the band's history that features a female voice. The precursors are Everlost Pt. 2 and In Flames by Lunar Strain , Whoracle from the album of the same name and Metaphor from Reroute to Remain .

Special edition

The special edition of the album includes a bonus DVD with studio recordings on which the band plays the entire album except for the last song. However, the audio recordings are not live, only the usual recordings with video recordings. The DVD also contains a gallery with photos of the Come Clarity recording sessions .
